Kootenai Classical Academy is a public charter school serving North Idaho families in Kootenai County. The school will serve students in grades K-12 by the 2027-2028 school year.
The mission of Kootenai Classical Academy is to develop the minds and hearts of students, so they understand and desire that which is objectively true, good, and beautiful. Through our classical, content-based curriculum, we educate students in the liberal arts, sciences, and athletics and work to equip our students with the moral and intellectual virtues needed for them to live fulfilling, good, and meaningful lives.

Employment Details
Employees will be employed by Kootenai Classical Academy and not by the public school district. By law, full-time employees will participate in PERSI (Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho). In addition, the school will offer a competitive benefits plan. Each school year will begin with several weeks of training before the first day students return.
